How can I apply for a 0% interest credit card?

You can check your eligibility for interest free credit cards in just five simple steps.

Fill out our online Eligibility Checker - this should take less than 5 minutes.

In just 60 seconds, we will run a soft search on the information you've given us and scan our panel of providers for the right credit card(s) for you and your individual circumstances.

We will present you with your options. If you have been pre-approved for a credit card, you should be aware that pre-approval does not guarantee acceptance. Your application will still be subject to a full credit check and any other checks the lender requires.
If we haven't been able to match you with a credit card we may show you some alternative products you may be interested in, such as an unsecured loan. You are not obliged to consider these alternatives if you do not feel they suit you or your requirements.

Take your time to browse your results and pick the best credit card for you. You'll be able to see the individual features of each credit card, helping you to narrow down your search.

Found the one? Simply click through to the provider's website to complete a full application.

What are the benefits of using a credit card comparison site rather than applying directly with the lender?

  • We work with a large range of trusted providers and can compare credit cards in just 60 seconds, taking the stress of guesswork away from you.
  • Our soft search eligibility check will not impact your credit score or be visible to lenders on your credit file.
  • When you apply for a credit card directly with a provider, they are required to run a hard credit search as part of your application; this will show on your credit file. Many hard credit searches over a short period of time could have a negative impact on your credit score. If you are matched with a credit card provider using Compare Credit Cards, you may only need to complete one hard credit check.

What are the best 0% interest credit cards?

There's no right answer to this question, as the credit card best suited to one person may not necessarily be the right fit for someone else.

Finding the best 0% credit card for you means exploring your options and working out the features that will benefit you most. When weighing up your 0% interest credit card options, you should think carefully about the interest-free period that suits your circumstances. Work out how much you can comfortably afford to repay each month and how long it should take you to clear the balance. This should help you decide whether a promotional period is right for you.

Always remember that any outstanding balance, and any transactions made after your promotional period ends, will be charged interest at your standard interest rate(s).
